The Beginning in San Pedro
Harbor Diesel & Equipment, Inc. was founded in San Pedro, California in 1971 as an authorized Full-Service Dealer for the Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors with a staff of six employees and a commitment to provide the highest quality sales, parts and service support to our customers.
The Move to Long Beach
In 1976, Harbor Diesel & Equipment, Inc. moved to its present location in Long Beach, California consisting of approximately 53,000 sq. ft. of buildings on 1.5 acres of land and has grown into a company with annual sales volume in excess of $22 million and a staff of over fifty employees representing quality product lines and servicing several market segments.

The challenges that face our business and our customers today are many and the quest is never ending. HD Industries continues to work closely with manufacturers as new products come to market. To ensure HD Industries provides the best after-sales service and support to our customers, we will make the necessary investment in employee training, special tooling and replacement part inventory.
